GBMs will always be worth 1 point. Select Social, Academic and Philanthropy events will be worth more, but we will notify you when that is the case. Officers (executive board and council) receive 2 points for serving as such. Committee members, tutors, and mentors will receive 1-2 points on the basis of your commitment to that position as determined by your chair or director.
You must be a bronze tier and have received 1 academic, 1 social, 1 philanthropy, and 1 attendance point to be considered an active member.
Perks of active membership include being able to run for officer positions, getting preference for limited space social events, and getting graduation cords for free. To receive your graduation cord, you must be an active member for 4 out of 6 of your semesters as a member.
Active members are also given tier prizes for active membership, which can range from tshirts, water bottles, sunglasses, drawstring bags and more! All prizes will be Phi Eta Sigma items. Please note that these are just examples of prizes; these may not be the exact prizes.
